The science behind it
We use a traditional old school method of soapmaking called "Cold Process". Essentially we mix lye with the oils/fats to create a chemical reaction called saponification. The end result is soap.
The reason our bars work so great for mechanics and people who work hard jobs, is that we use exfoliants like volcanic pumice to give some of our soap some texture. Making it a superb candidate for a scrub down.

Apart from our workshop in Dublin, Ireland. We have warehouses set up in the UK, USA and Canada. We will ship your order from the closes location. Usually takes us about 2-3 working days to pick pack and post it. Then it travels through the local post system quite quickly.
Is it safe for skin?
As an Irish company we operate according to the strict EU laws regarding good manufacturing practices and cosmetic safety certification.
The products themselves are made using only natural ingredients, we hear positive feedback even from those who have sensitive skin, or skin conditions. Like anything though, if you do notice any irritation or reaction, please discontinue use and get in touch.

Every ingredient in a bar is there to do a job. No filler, no synthetic crap.
Shea Butter
This expensive african butter is usually only used for the lable attraction, however more than half our soap is shea and olive. Which is why people say that their skin feels great after using our products.
Olive Oil
Used since ancient greece and roman times to cleanse. Olive leaves your skin feeling great at the same time.
Coconut Oil
Coconut oil gives the soap its cleansing power, but it can also leave your skin feeling dry. That's why we have created the perfect balance with the shea and olive base counteracting this feature of coconut oil.

Volcanic Pumice
A superb natural exfoliant. This adds texture to 3/4 of the soaps in the bundle making them masters at removing the day.
Oatmeal Blend
Oatmeal provides natural scrubbing power to help lift grease, grime and ingrained dirt
Essential Oils
The smell comes from essential oils. Depending on the bar there are five or six in there, things like cedarwood, peppermint and orange peel. We don't use fragrance oils at all.

Questions
Hand soap or body soap?
It's for the shower. Hair, body, hands, the lot, one bar. It works at the sink as well.
Will it shift engine oil?
Yep. This bundle was specifically created to package up our best oil busting soaps. Works great.
Will I still smell of the workshop after?
No. That comes off. We wash away all grime, oils and smells. Leaving you smelling fresh and clean.
How long does a bar last?
On average, about 21+ showers per soap. Considerably longer if using our washcloth, and minding the product. It will last for months if being used as a hand soap in the workshop.
Why is it more expensive than a supermarket bar?
It's handmade from the best ingredients money can buy, by a small team who earn a real living wage. We don't pay anywhere close to minimum wage. We don't skimp on our people or our product, we believe that matters.
Is it OK for sensitive skin?
Yes. We hear positive feedback on this front all the time from people with all sorts of skin condtions. Two of the soaps in this bundle - Atlantic Pine Tar, and Fresh Lime & Aloe have specific ingredients that help with skin issues.
